It's that time of year when one false move by a fantasy Football owner can mean the difference between a sudden death to the season or living to fight another week.
At the player level, it's playoff time or pine time.
USA TODAY's crew of Pete O'Brien, Nate Davis and Steve Gardner take a look at key players in this week's Fantasy Sports Weekly audio program and offer advice on those key roster decisions.
On New York Jets receiver Laveranues Coles, Davis says: "I think if you're in a league that starts three receivers or a flex, you can think about it. The guy (Brett Favre) seems to be looking for is Dustin Keller, over the middle for first downs on third down, time and time again. Coles will get some yards. Jerricho Cotchery is in the same boat; they both have turned into 50-, 60-yard guys and, if you're lucky, a touchdown."
Gardner says to start Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Warrick Dunn. "It depends a lot of times on matchups, and as you go through the playoffs, Tampa Bay has some really easy defenses to go up against," he says. "Warrick Dunn has shown he can catch the ball out of the backfield. He's getting more reps than anybody else."
On Houston Texans wide receiver Kevin Walter, O'Brien says to start him over bigger names such as Donald Driver and Eddie Royal. "Kevin Walter finds the end zone -- seven touchdowns this year, coming up on 700 yards," he says. "With Andre Johnson on the other side, you know he's going to get easy coverage."
